had a nice surprise from my collegues today

but I totally didnt expect that
gen, bel and theng bought a cheesecake from breadtalk
oh and not forgeting the cookies as well

and I have no idea how they knew
oh a very happy birthday to bel's sister ember too!
LOL lucky sister gets to eat durian cake

next headed off for dinner with Jess after work
had a great time catching up on old times
and I hope she is doing well
keeping in touch with old friends is a must

oh and smu interview went rather well I think
perhaps only the essay and compre part wasnt too confident
since I become rusty after having not touch GP for such a long time
haha oh well I did the best I could

I hope NTU and NUS will get back to me soon! :D

all along i have this thought my life is mundane and boring
that there was nothing to blog about
oh but how have times changed
after i have gotten this job
so this is the actual one and only post
that i have seriously written
ever since the beginning of this year till now

new found work is complicated
and though one can use the msn and surf the net
it can get boring
how ironic
dont get me wrong
most of my colleagues are nice, friendly and helpful
but sometimes it gets frustrating when u cant seem to get any work done
well that is not the point
as being a test analyst
some tests do fail
but so far none pass
and i feel demoralized and depressed
and no sense of accomplishment

furthermore i really seriously cant stand smokers
and there is this guy seated next time to me
and after he leaves his seat
he comes back smelling of smoke
and pops a mint into his mouth
argh. that was the worst. at least.

been slacking at home for almost a week now

most of my girl frens are now working as teachers o.O

2 years in jc seem to pass fast
everyone has gone separate ways
hopefully we can meet up a few years down the road and catch up

my new year's resolution:

omg. it has been ages since i last blog.
can u imagine that i have been more busy then ever AFTER As?!
the day after as was family chalet
it was 3 days under the sun swimming and BBQ-ing
then on sat was and appreciation tea by lakeside family centre
oh the food was yummy and most importantly it was free.lol.
then it was a mad rush to the airport to celebrate hazel's bday (:
it was that day that i realised that most of my frens had alr bought their prom dress!
argh and i haven ):
sun was family day again so no time for such things
mon i was meeting my sec sch frens jess and yihui
haha we went around to shop for my prom dress
i found some nice dresses but i just couldnt decide which to buy
so ytd i went out with my mum and i finally bought my dress. phew.
oh but its not over so soon
i still had shoes to buy. haiz. what a hassle.
i think my sec sch prom was so much easier though
today i can finally take a break and go online to search for jobs
i need the money! (after all the shopping ytd)

Gp was tough

today was double papers
i hate days that has two papers
like one paper isnt stress enough to kill most of my brain cells -.-
lucky there's no paper tmr
so i can at least catch my breath and some sleep (:
phy today was so-so and math was quite easy and straightforward
i hope the other papers will be able to be done more smoothly

suddenly i feel like there's alot of stuff to do and things to get after As
and this makes me want to end this exam quickly and effectively
just get it done and over with

its nearly 2 weeks since i last blog
i need to be stressed
im seriously serious
to me it is some sort of motivation to study maybe
decided to spend evert friday at home instead to mug
the As is so different from the Os
i feel less prepared now
and i believe it has got nothing to do with the 2 years difference
anyway i should blog often to perhaps improve my gp
though i quite doubt there is nothing much to gain at the last minute
but its all revision and more pratice from now on

prelim results were a total disappointment
although all pass but still Ds and Es ):
maybe i should just try my luck in UK universities
with the predicted grades, at least it wont look so bad
must seriously get into the mugging mood
the rhythm of studying like mad before exams

studying at almost every break in school
just for my As
i know it will be all worth it

this weekend was badly spent
although i managed to finish phy oscillations and chem
but still i went out for the whole of sat and sun
went out to have dinner with yi hui at imm
and went for dim sum and suntec shopping on sun
this must not happen again

what's worse is my wet shoes
which has the greatest difficulty to get dry somehow

ytd class outing was fun fun fun XD

i think it was one of the best class outing i ever had

we went to the zoo after the teacher's day celebration

oh and everyone got in without paying a single cent

cos we had gotten FREE tickets from funorama

zoo was kind of boring though after some time

we went just in time for the feeding of some animals

then we grew weary from all the walking and settled for ben & jerry's ice-cream outside

next we proceeded to dy house for bbq

his house is super ulu and near the zoo

LOL

had a great night with great food and great friends hanging out together

oh and it was super nice of celest dad to fetch me and yee back

i felt sad and regretful
cos i know its my fault
and that i should not blame anyone else
i dont even know why i felt sad about losing it
i cant remember if it has any sentimental value
but i really like it very much
and the thought of losing it is unbearable
i wonder if i suddenly sound like a kid now
i feel miserable just because of that silly little thing
and it has affected my mood ever since i lost it
some things lost can just never be found

for the first time ever i really sat down and studied for chinese
now i tell u to me it uselee/pointless/waste of time/dont need to bother
it didnt really help

the paper was tougher than last year

my friends have decided to make me carry this ridiculous balloon
for the rest of the day in school
LOL ok i admit that many friends who didnt remember my birthday wished me that day
but seriously...
it just sets everyone who saw it to point it to their friends and laugh
LOL anyway it was quite fun o carry it after u get the hang of all those glances people gave me

i just realise i sound emo in most of my blog posts
and i also realise im super emo in the mornings
when im on the way to sch
my mind starts wandering and thinking too much and too far...

talked to a few people today
realised that my results were not too bad but were not too good too
tried finding people to talk to
thank you to those who listened and shared
through these conversations i really reflect alot on myself
talking to them helps me to find my weaknesses

i feel that every one is like in this amazing race
where the finish line is the 'A' levels
many people in my class are the super smart ones running ahead
and im just lagging behind
seeing my friends in front makes me feel very pressured to run faster
i can hear my friends ahead encouraging but i cant really hear them
they seem so far away
i look upon them as my goal
and to be able to sprint from now to the end to catch up with them
i turn to those running with me
i find comfort in these people
i feel motivated by their encouragement
i feel encouraged with them running beside me
after all we are in the same plight
thank you i feel much better

we shall work hard together
just like old times

sadly i didnt get any As for my terms
i feel like crying
but is just no use crying over spilled milk
i was thinking so much stuff to blog out of my mind
but now my mind is a blank
just like when im taking my exams
i just dont know why i can do my tutorials but not the actual exam itself
chinese 'A' levels is my best proof
well i guess some things are just not fated to be
maybe im just slacking and playing around too much
i think now is the time to be serious
to start mugging ang preparing for 'A's
especially people like me who are not very smart
have to start studying early before the rest
seriously i start to feel that studies are more important than friends
this initially is very difficult for me
i mean how can you survive without compianionship?
life would just be a total bore

im not angry with these people but rather at myself
perhaps im those kind of people who cant play and study concurrently
i guess u could say im selfish, anti-social, jealous or whatever
but now i dont really care
im seriously going to focus on my studies and nothing else
no more fun and laughter

the emo and serious me, going striaght home after school to mug
no more wasting of time on friends and outings/gatherings
im sorry but this is what i have to force myself to do so to get my As
i tried to keep smiling after promos but i see that it didnt really help for my terms

are this symptoms of stress?
i think im stressed
i just dont feel motivated even with friends' encouragements

and their team were full of 'ruggers'
initially we were rather intimidated by them

then the finals
after they have played against sb9 and won
our team won 2-1
yeah!the second person who scored the deciding point ok
or else we would have draw again
hahahaa (:
but of course must give credit to the whole team
cos i didnt really did any blocking/defending
i was the one who just did the running to the other side
great game guys!

oh and another great news in the earlier part of the day
we had a captain's ball match against sa1
we were so pissed at them for playing rough yesterday during benchball finals
which they got 1st and we 2nd
that we decided to go for it and do the best to beat them
we were so motivated that we kept cheering for our class (and jeering at the opponents)
due to the shortage of time due to the rain earlier
whoever scored first wins
it was a tense battle with our class (those who turn up)
screaming and encouraging
when we scored
all the girls screamed their lungs out
like we won the finals or something but
just because we won sa1
LOL XD
we were really satisfied that at least we had defeated them
in this game and the basketball game later
although its not some finals or something equal
our class was still glad that we had beaten them today

finally had some free time to blog
i had been so busy for the past week with dont know what
that i simply lost track of time
and now the september holidays are here
im not sure to be glad and relieved or stressed out
bcos its less than one more month to promos
and this break seem to be meant for mugging rather than relaxing ):
planning to study with jess this holidays
and the best thing is that i dont have to go back school for any cca or lesson
but going back to school on friday to help prepare for ac open house on sat
all juniors must try to come ok!

went back crescent today
saw many friends and teachers (:
today was mr samat last day in school!
he is going to retire after teaching 23 years in crescent!
i was like WOW.
he sure is a good pe teacher in our hearts
everyone gave him a standing ovation including us seniors
i guess we will sure miss him

YEA!!! *jumps around, getting excited*
ocip trip comfirm to be from 24 nov to 4 dec
i heard that the temperatures will be at about 12 degrees?!
im sure it will be fun XD
im so looking forward to it!
cant wait!

went to watched fireworks with asti yeewen sel peiyi meryl on fri
couldnt go at first cause my mum was ill
but she felt better and she told me to go anyway
it was spectacular!!!
i love the heart-shaped one and the giant ones the most

it was the best shot i have considering that i took it by my handphone so the resolution is rather bad :/

chem lecture on sat
quite a waste of time
spending so much time in school
and it was made worse when it was raining cats and dogs after the lecture ended
so we were all stuck in school ):

then spend the weekends cramming to read the gp package
managed to finish it and the chinese homework
still left to study for chem mini quiz tomorrow
but i think i will just do it tomorrow morning during breaks
for now its sleep time XP .ZzZzZzZzZzzzZzZz.

had chinese mock AND math test today
i just hope that i will pass my math at least and maybe an A for chinese. hahaa.
feeling sick these pass few days.
1st sore throat now flu
dont know what has come over me.
maybe it is the lack of sleep
i sense dark rings snd eye bags growing more obviuos each day
maybe i should just sleep early and have more rest
but how?!?! with so much tutorials to do
there is just no time for everything.
plus i end school every day at 4 o.O
i cant pon sch these pass few days because of the econs test on tue and today
then tomorrow there is ocip meeting
so i cant just skip anyday of sch to rest at home :/
oh well maybe the weekends then (:
sleep for 12 hrs!!! LOL

went to my dad's company chalet doing the national day break
and so i miss the outing with my friends ):
seriously. i feel torn between my friends and family
but i guess although im obliged to to both my priority is family
i just hope there are NO more clashes of such things like this

ok. i seriously cant take this
i just didnt know/realsise that such kind of people actually exist
no wonder that person has no friends
i tried so hard to maintain a neutral friendship with such a person
despite all my friends' protests
and this is what i get

i have decided
not to think so much
as the chinese teacher said
think once is not enough but twice is just right and thrice is too much
so i just not going to think about it at all
im just going to leave it to fate (:

i ate durian today!!!
my aunt bought to celebrate my granddad's birthday
it was delicious. yumyum XD

still havent watched the harry potter movie with my sisters yet
a promise is a promise
but there is just no time
my schedule is packed even on weekends
and with promos nearing
there is simply no time for movies and outings

i cant wait for our class bbq on fri!!! (:

hmmm
i am feeling terrible these few days
my heart is like tearing into two
i cannot decide between luo yuan ocip and bei jing immersion
both equally has its pros and cons
which makes it difficult for me
i think i will just take i step at a time 1st though
the interview yesterday for ocip was so so screwed ):
that i went home regretting what i said
and if i can commit myself to the involvement for the preparation
i just didnt know what i was thinking back in the interview room then
i now halfheartedly hope that i will not get in for luo yuan but for bei jing instead
but by doing so i will miss the cip opportunity to help others
this is so conflicting. i feel so torn.
tomorrow is the chem spa
i feel so very nervous about it
i just feel awkward when someone is just looking at me when im doing my experiment
i just feel uneasy sometimes
like im afraid i can just do something wrong every time she looks at me
then there is phy test on fri
at least there is water polo tomorrow!!
im looking forward to it XD
so many things so little time
i am so deprived of my sleep :(

feel so happy and excited today
went back to crescent for speech day this morning XD
academic excellance silver !!!
hahaa. even got a trophy besides the certificate =D
i think it is like my first time in my life so far to get a trophy
took the opportunity to take many pictures with my friends and teachers alike
how i miss all of them and the times i had in crescent!
my parents came of course
and my dad and i were happily snapping picture after picture
in the school compound
with my PRECIOUS trophy XP
hahaa. as usual the speeches were rather boring and the performances spectacular

my pw group is just seriously not efficient
and some of the members dont even care about it
so i being the group leader tries to organise some discussion
but to no avail ))))))))))))))):
i just hope we manege to complete the draft my monday though

i seriously do not know the purpose of ILs and PW
it just seems to be extra work for students
besides their constant mugging??
had chem test today
i think i confirm got 3 mcq qns wrong already
and my graph is wrong also. haiz.
i think im not an efficient group leader
my group just cant seem to meet up and start discussing
everyone just seems so busy
i really hope that tomorrow we can at least manage to discuss something
at least i finished my part on the phy IL. XD
